Upon first listen to Déyyess debut single “Escher Heart”, you immediately feel a haunted-ness that would make you think that she was a natural born artist.
Although she was scouted by Arsenal Girls and could have easily had a professional career as a skilled footballer, she turned down the opportunity to focus on her music. In a recent interview she says that she funnels raw heartache into her music, and you can definitely feel that in the epic “Escher Heart”.
If one artist can make us feel so many things with just their debut single, we’re excited to see what else she is capable of in the future.
