Hollie Carmen is doing the whole “trying to make it as a British singer-songwriter” thing the right way.
The London born and raised songwriter has just released her Plan B EP (which features hot up-and-coming rapper Aaron Unknown) which puts her on the map as a “One To Watch” in the category of new vocalists.
What makes Carmen stand out from the crowd is the way she crosses musical genres with her music; featuring R&B-inspired production with soulful, pop vocals and lyrics which touch on issues such as relationships and empowerment.
If you need any more evidence that she is doing things the right way – “Plan B” was produced by the reputable Oscar Scheller (Lily Allen, Mae Muller, Mabel and MNEK) and is a single many other artists would wish they could call their own.
