A rock revolution is brewing and this Manchester three-piece is vowing to be at the forefront.
False Advertising (consisting of band members Jen Hingley, Chris Warr and Josh Sellers) have been around since 2015 but – despite a showcase at SXSW in 2017 as well as support from the likes of BBC Introducing – it feels like the best is still very much yet to come.
Latest single “You Said” rings similarities to US alt-rock bands such (think early-Panic At The Disco and, to some stretch, 00’s bands such as Hey Monday) but equally wouldn’t be seen too far away from Warped Tour. The single shines a light on Jen’s incredible ability as lead singer and is a stand-out performance from the whole band.
As rock rises again, it’s undoubtable that False Advertising truly deserve a spot as part of the new scene.
