We've teamed up with W!ZARD Radio Station, the leading online teen radio station, dedicated to playing your favourite music before you know it. WR are picking a track from emerging UK talent every week that they predict will make it big to showcase here, on the BPI blog.
Mae Muller is arguably one of the most exciting new unsigned artists at the moment.
Despite having only release two singles and one EP, her style of R&B-infused pop music has fans queuing up to be a part of her movement. She’s already starting working with some big name producers as well, having collaborated with Two Inch Punch (Rag’n’Bone Man, Anne-Marie, Years & Years, Jessie Ware and more) on the track ‘Jenny’ – which features on EP “After Hours”.
On her debut EP, Muller premieres a self-assured sound that’s as confident of its future success as it is in using musical throwbacks. This is perhaps best displayed in the opening, title track which flicks between classical-inspired melodies and with something close to hip-hop beats.
Mae Muller is undoubtedly pursuing music on her own terms, and everyone better be ready for what’s to come.
