This week’s Future Fresh artist comes with a lot of hype behind her.
It’s a surprise that London born-and-raised Ella Mai is still considered a new name in the game, considering she’s had Ty Dolla $ign featured on one of her tracks, released three EPs and she supported Kehlani on tour earlier this year.
But, the artist has gone through plenty of development since her last EP, 2017’s “READY”.
New single ‘Naked’ is, simply put, stunning. In the acoustic track, Ella Mai signs about how she’s looking for a lover who loves her, “naked” – as if to say, someone who loves her without the baggage, just for who she is.
With more singles on the way, and an album expected to drop next year, Ella Mai has set the bar high for herself and everyone else with this latest release.
