We've teamed up with W!ZARD Radio Station, the leading online teen radio station, dedicated to playing your favourite music before you know it. WR are picking a track from emerging UK talent every week that they predict will make it big to showcase here, on the BPI blog.
The new saviours of indie-pop, Livepool-based Motherhood have got us very excited.
Their latest single – and first release on Spotify (having released two other singles ‘Clueless’ and ‘You Can Be Lonely If You Want’ on SoundCloud) – ‘Save Me’ is an upbeat ballad which has all of the strut-power of The 1975 mixed with the pop prowess of Carly Rae-Jepsen.
Having been busy on the live circuit recent too, the best may still be yet to come from Motherhood who are still very much crafting their sound and image (if you listen to their other releases from not-too-long-ago, the development is clear).
We wait patiently for the next release…
