SG Lewis isn’t quite a new name in music, after all his debut major-label single was released in 2015 and he boasts over 1M monthly listeners on Spotify. However, this track is something a bit different.
‘Times We Had' is SG Lewis’ latest bop, featuring New York singer/producer Toulouse who’s raw, jazz-influenced sound came to surface last year with his tracks ‘So I Know You Care’ and ‘I Will Follow’.
The track sees both hugely talented artists collaborate on a song unlike anything we’ve heard in a while. It has a bit of Khalid, a bit of Frank Ocean perhaps, and a bit of feel-good which you can’t quite put your finger on.
