UK record labels association the BPI and the Music Publishers Association (MPA), the trade association for music publishers in the UK, jointly announce the latest in a programme of International Trade Webinars, which are being organised in close association with the Department for International Trade (DIT).
The next event will be an LA Sync Mission Webinar confirmed for 22nd September and will explore the Future of Games and Music Sync. This will be followed in October by an Indian Music Mission Webinar (14/10) and then, for the first time ever, a Brazilian Music Mission Webinar (20/10 or 23/10, date tbc).
The virtual events, which are normally only available to members, will be free to attend and are open to all. They follow international webinars for LA Sync and for China held in June earlier this year.

Chris Tams, BPI Director of International, said:
“Our international missions always prove popular in helping members to develop sync contacts and grow their exports in key markets overseas, not least the LA Sync Mission. With our normal international activities currently curtailed by the pandemic, we are delighted to build on the heritage of our trade missions through this free programme of events, which anyone can benefit from, including non-members.”
Lucie Caswell, MPA General Manager, said:
“We are delighted to shine a spotlight on the uniquely creative collaboration of music and games. Together, music and gaming can be where we are our most creative, imaginative and engaging. Music is woven into the magic of games with particular skill and mutual respect between supervisor and music maker. This session is an exciting opportunity to lift the lid on how that works, with those who do it best.”
