Grow Music is a scale-up and growth programme for new technologies, innovations and ideas to support the music industry in collaboration with leading music industry partners.
Grow Music is brought to you by BPI Insight & Innovation, Abbey Road Red, Anthony David King, Angel Investing School, Measure of Music and UK Black Tech powered by Grow London & London & Partners.
Grow Music is for London-based companies, working in music technology or music-adjacent technologies, innovations and new ideas, to take part in a 12 week business support programme. If you have a registered or trading address in London, earned or secured investment of £50,000+ in the past 18 months, and have two or more employees.
The Grow Music 12-week business support programme will kick off at Abbey Road Studios in September, with the selected cohort informed by early September. Grow Music will also deliver a 4 week Angel Investing School, and wrap-around legacy content.
Grow Music: Angel Investing School
Alongside our 12 week business support programme, Grow Music is also delivering a free-to-attend, online Angel Investing School, complete with an optional graduation ceremony at Abbey Road in early 2025.
The course is being delivered by Andy Ayim, MBE, who has a successful track record in designing and delivering his Angel Investing School across the globe, for clients including Microsoft and Google.
Andy launched Angel Investing School with a key mission: to train the next generation of angel investors with the confidence, community and skills to get started investing in start-ups. Since its inception, AIS has supported over 500 individuals across 54 countries and from all walks of life on a transformative journey to become angel investors. Whether you're retired, an experienced professional, or a successful founder, Angel Investing School has crafted an all-encompassing experience.
Grow Music will allow a bespoke Angel Investing School exclusively designed for the music community.
Grow Music’s Angel Investing School will be open to anyone from underrepresented backgrounds in the music industry, working at a senior level and earning around or over £100,000 ($200,000 in the US).
