BPI Legal is highly-regarded in protecting these rights; ensuring that they are respected; and helping consumers appreciate that rightsholders have a choice in deciding how to exploit their works.
BPI Legal offers support to members on key relationships and agreements with other music industry bodies - such as PPL/VPL, PRS For Music, the Musicians Union and Equity.
BPI Legal's work involves formulating an IP strategy for the future, both internally and with our pan-industry colleagues.
We are a member of IFPI, UK Music, the Alliance Against IP Theft, the British Copyright Council and the Educational Recording Agency - and work closely with our legal counterparts at these organisations to further our respective and mutual interests.
BPI Legal also provides a comprehensive legal service to the BRIT Awards, the Official Charts Company and the BRIT Trust.
